About MyClaudia

The number was never the point.

MyClaudia began with a problem hiding in plain sight: two people can sit the same emotional intelligence assessment, receive the same score, and be nothing alike. One struggles to read a room. The other reads it perfectly and says nothing. Same number, different lives — and most assessments can't tell them apart.

So we built one that can.

MyClaudia measures the shape of your emotional intelligence, not just its size. Five dimensions — self-awareness, regulation, communication, relationships, growth — and an interpretation engine that reads how they interact. The score gets you in the door. The interpretation is the product.

What we won't claim

We won't tell you MyClaudia is clinically validated — our reliability and validity studies are in progress, and we'll publish the results when we have them. We won't tell you it replaces therapy, because it doesn't. And we won't sell your data, because it's yours. We'd rather earn your trust slowly than overclaim quickly.

Who's behind it

MyClaudia was founded by Vanessa Valdez, currently completing an MSc in Psychology & Neuroscience of Mental Health at King's College London. Her background is in building consumer brands with the same principle this platform runs on: say only what you can stand behind.
